Mmmm Mmmm Marshmallow Madness!

We started our day at circle singing our Moe Monkey song and reviewing the days of the week, months of the year, our shapes and colors, numbers and letters.  Then we played a fun marshmallow toss game where I laid out circles with letters on them several Mm ones mixed in then we tossed a large marshmallow on an Mm.

Next we made a marshmallow mix up art

I got giant marshmallows and put them on corn on the cob holders and let the kids dip them in paint and make prints on the paper with them.  I can't tell you how much they enjoyed this art activity.  One little fellow sat for almost an hour making fifteen pages of marshmallow prints.   

It was time to tie all this marshmallow madness to our letter of the week and what better way to do that than making marshmallow M's?

 After nap we worked on this writing worksheet

 Of course we had to have marshmallows with our snack and each child got a baggie full of marshmallows to take home.
