FIRST DAY OF PRE-SCHOOL

Yesterday was the first day of pre-school.

Invitations went home on Friday for each child to bring a teddy buddy and join us Monday for a teddy bear's tea.

I love my bear.  He's white and he loves Spiderman just like I do.

I like my bear.  He has a big red heart.

I love my bear.  She's pink and beautiful like me.

This was my teddy bear.  I think mine was the cutest!  Baby brother was hanging out with us for the day as a favor to mom.

We read this funny story at circle about a bear, a boy, and their teddy mix up.

We also enjoy learning our Big Bad Bobby Brown Bb song

He's bad, bad, Big Bad Bobby Brown.
He's bad, bad, Big Bad Bobby Brown.
And Big Bad Bobby Brown is the baddest bear in town.
Oh yeah.
Oh yeaeaeaeah!

After circle we were off to the art table to make these Big Bad Bobby Brown bears.

Next we worked on number recognition and one to one correspondence with these Teddy Graham bear den mats.

A Teddy Graham Den Math mat set went home with each child for them to work with at home.

Next, it was time to get ready for our teddy bear's tea.  We had so much fun making these Big Bad Bobby Brown biscuits.

While our biscuits cooked we made these bear counting books.

of course we had to eat one or two of our counters.

We read our counting books then it was time for our tea.

SO GOOD!  We added a bit of butter and honey, had our lemonade "tea" and it was a wonderful time!

After nap we practiced writing our Bb with this fun worksheet.

Happy Teddy Bear's Tea Day!

See you tomorrow
Ms. P
