Very Hungry Caterpillar pancakes. I put food coloring into pancake batter and made several very small pancakes, stacked them added a chocolate chip eye and the kids LOVED them!
After our caterpillar breakfast, we reviewed our story.
Then we jumped right into our art activities.
We talked about the life cycle of a caterpillar, we reviewed the different stages of the caterpillar's metamorphose, then we made these Very Hungry Caterpillar life cycle arts.
It was time to connect all this caterpillar fun with our letter so we glued caterpillars to C's
After our caterpillar C's we made butterfly, caterpillar stamp art. The children wrote their Cc and Bb then the word Caterpillar and Butterfly then stamped butterflies and caterpillars to their paper.
It was time for lunch and a nap.
After nap we practiced writing our name, enjoyed our snack then made these Very Hungry Caterpillar books to practice our counting and writing skills.
