A Seed Song April 30th

Today we revisited our seed/plants unit.  We took a look at our seeds and saw no sprouts, recorded this in our plant journals, then we took a look at this book.

We talked, again, about the life cycle of a plant and what a seed needs in order to grow.  We worked

Then we worked on these The Seed Song worksheets.

We talked about how framer's grow plants and animals and use them for our food.

We enjoyed this farm animal sort center for almost an hour.  The children sort the animals based on attributes such as fur/feathers, color, and big/medium/small

As we sorted our farm animals, we took turns creating our own Seed Song book.

After a full day of plant/farm leaning it was time for lunch and a nap.

Chicken nuggets, carrots, mac&cheese, strawberries, and milk.

When we woke we practiced writing our names and then we went outside and enjoyed the day.

Have a wonderful day
Ms. P
