Dressed all in red with a red toy to show and tell

We enjoyed painting with red

Each of their painting styles are as individual as are they.

we enjoyed red tactile tubs.  I filled plastic shoe-boxes with red kidney beans and wrote R, E, D on squares of paper and added to the tubs along with little red bowls and tongs.  The children picked out the red word and added to the red strips I made and laminated.

We made a red collage with small pictures printed from the internet.

They are always so proud of their art work.

We finished the morning by writing a little red book.  We practiced writing red on each page after gluing a red picture to the page.

We enjoyed pepperoni pasta, cherry tomatoes and red bell pepper w/ dip. red apple slices and cherries for lunch.

We had red jello for snack then we worked this red worksheet.

We ended our red day by playing with tubs filled with red jello.  It took the kids a moment to warm to the wiggle jiggle funess of it all, but once they did, boy did they have fun~!

Hope everyone had a great day.

See you tomorrow.
