The children arrived to find this waiting for them this morning.

Papa's Pizza Parlor order pads (inside)
Papa's Pizza bucks
Papa's Pizza Parlor toppings containers
Papa's Pizza Parlor felt pizzas
This prop box is extremely affordable and easy to put together. I went to Pizza Hut and asked for four empty pizza boxes they were all too happy to donate.
Felt squares cut into cheese, peppers, olives, pepperoni, and pineapples. I cut four felt circles for crusts and four maroon felt "sauces"
I found these pans at the Dollar General store for a dollar each along with lidded plastic containers to hold all the pizza toppings.
I printed out red checked boarder in different sized rectangles to use for menus, order pads, labels, and the papa's pizza bucks.
I bought four hats and four child-sized smocks at Hobby Lobby and with red puff paint, painted a checked boarder on each along with the words Papa's Pizza and there you have it, tons of Pp learning fun.
The children spent the morning making and delivering pizzas.
After making all those felt pizzas, it was time to make the real deal.
We popped our pizzas in the oven then went outside to play, coming back in to this
Pizza, salad, cantaloupe, and milk.
After nap we enjoyed pizza rolls for snack then practiced writing our names and our Pp's with this worksheet.
I had them practice their Pp's on the bottom line.
I asked each child which was their favorite pizza topping then we made these...
Then we made these pizza books.
Happy Thursday
Ms. P
